The monoclonal antibody S100A9.04 recognizes cow S100A9 or Calgranulin B protein.
S100A9/Calgranulin B has many alternative names such as CGLB, MAC387, MRP14, MRP-14, S100 calcium binding protein A9. S100A9/Calgranulin B binds calcium and is expressed in several cell types, including immune cells. S100A9 and S100A8 proteins form a heterodimer and are secreted in a heterodimeric form by activated immune cells. Existing antibodies to S100A9/Calgranulin B are almost exclusively produced on a native complex that may constitute the bulk of macrophage or granulocyte proteins in some conditions. There are almost no recombinant antigens which makes our antibody special. Clone S100A9.04 could recognize new epitopes. S100A9.04 has not been tested on a native complex so it is possible to recognize epitopes hidden within the complex in its native structure.
Our anti-S100A9 antibody, clone S100A9.04 has been validated in WB on S100A9-His recombinant protein.
